By using TimeScribe you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Acceptable use
- Read, share, and discuss our articles freely.
- Quote up to 400 words with attribution and a backlink.
- Do not scrape the entire site or use our content to train commercial AI without a written licence.
- Do not impersonate, defame, or harass anyone via our contact form.
- Do not attempt to compromise the site's security or availability.
3. Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions to support editorial work. They are non-refundable except in cases of clear fraud or duplicate transfer. We do not currently issue 80G tax-exempt receipts.
4. User content
We may publish letters-to-the-editor or selected contact-form submissions in future. By sending us a message that includes a clear publication request, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish it with attribution.
5. Third-party links
Articles often link to external sources. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The site may be unavailable during maintenance or outages of our hosting provider.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeScribe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of your donations to us in the past 12 months, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where the publication is registered.
9. Changes
We may revise these terms. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
